David, continued to pay the consequences of carnal sin, then his son Absalom rose up against him in an attempt to strip him of his kingdom and take the life of his own father. Like the prophet Nathan had prophesied, Absalom publicly took his father's concubines in the sight of Israel, as he sentenced Jehovah: "So they got to Absalom a tent on the roof, and Absalom came to his father's concubines, before the sight of all Israel. "(2 Samuel 16:22)
Absalom was killed by men loyal to the King David, invading of sorrow for her love for the disobedient son and ambitious wealth and power.
