Most get theirs from people in other countries when they can reach to other Christians there. My friend told me to go internet where I can get some to help and I know God has directed me to you. My wife and I needs the super giant print bibles which has very large print and we need this due to reading difficulty. Please kindly send us two copies. Also I’m using this medium to request for additional 6 super giant print bibles for the aged ones in the Sunday school class. king James Version would be preferable as we mostly use this during service. If other version is what you have we would appreciate them. The bibles could also be used bibles as long as the pages are correct we would use them. Horror en siquiátrico:Se confirma que paciente ahorcó a tres y el cuadro general es aterrador
* Atención deficiente, fármacos vencidos y presupuesto de hambre, conforman un hospital-cárcel que parece sacado de las novelas del siglo XIX
* Minsa le da el 1% del Presupuesto de Salud, y no hay ningún estudio para modernizar el tratamiento hospitalario de los enfermos mentales

José Abel Día Álvarez cierra los ojos. Se ve deslizando sus manos alrededor del cuello de su compañero. Ve su cara de horror, sus ojos desorbitados, su miedo a la muerte. Comienza a apretar cada vez, mientras su víctima trata inútilmente de liberarse.
Siente cómo sus dedos se ciernen alrededor de su garganta, evitando el paso del aire. Su mente está salpicada de sombras y líneas oscuras. Duda un instante, pero al recordar los gritos que le roban la paz noche tras noche, retoma la tarea con nuevos bríos.
El cuerpo se retuerce y da unas pataditas como tratando de evitar un fin que ya está escrito. Finalmente, José ve que las manos de su víctima caen inertes y lo suelta. Vienen a su memoria los cuerpos de su tío, su padre, y dos de sus compañeros, quienes también murieron asfixiados por sus manos unos días antes.
Despierta y grita: Yo los maté
En ese instante, una voz femenina lo saca de sus cavilaciones.
“¡José Abel, despierta! ¿Qué estás viendo?”
José abre los ojos asustado, desorientado y confundido, sumido en una neblina que se disipa lentamente. Ve el consultorio y a la doctora Miriam Castillo, la encargada de darle las terapias cada miércoles. De pronto, la verdad se le atora en la garganta y la suelta como si le quitara la vida.
“Yo los maté” --dice, ante la expresión aterrorizada de la doctora Castillo--, “primero a Pablo, luego a Julio y a Daniel, porque gritaban mucho y no me dejaban dormir”.
José Abel es un paciente del hospital sicosocial de Managua “José Dolores Fletes”, y el presunto asesino de tres pacientes que aparecieron estrangulados en dicho centro en agosto de este año.
Extrañas muertes
En la semana del 22 al 27 de agosto de 2010, se sucedieron tres muertes que sacudieron los cimientos de una de las instituciones más temidas y estigmatizadas en Managua: el hospital siquiátrico.
Las muertes ocurrieron tras un escándalo que puso a las autoridades en vilo, cuando suspendieron a tres enfermeros por supuesta negligencia.
Según declaraciones de los afectados, la suspensión sin goce de salario se produjo a raíz de la extraña muerte de tres pacientes.
La directora del centro, María Esther Paiz, aseguró que el proceso estaba en investigación, pero a pesar de la presión de los familiares y de la opinión pública, nunca se conoció el informe forense ni se iniciaron las debidas investigaciones policiales.
No obstante, una fuente anónima que labora en el hospital, reveló a END que los homicidios fueron cometidos por otro paciente. Las víctimas fueron Pablo Arellano Chávez, quien apareció asfixiado el 22 de agosto en una cabaña; Julio Villavicencio, encontrado el 25 de agosto, en el comedor del hospital, y un paciente identificado como “Daniel”, el cual fue hallado en las mismas condiciones, el 27 de agosto, en una de las canchas del recinto.
Siquiátrico no es una cárcel
Las muertes ocurridas en el hospital desataron muchas dudas en torno a la seguridad que tienen las personas internadas en él, ya que muchos reos son trasladados del sistema penitenciario La Modelo y La Esperanza, antes de que las autoridades se aseguren de que sean criminales inactivos.
Según la siquiatra y ex trabajadora del hospital Gioconda Cajina, el problema radica en que el Ministerio de Salud tiene una actitud totalmente irresponsable y de abandono con respecto a los enfermos mentales.
“En países con ministerios responsables, cuando se tiene un sicópata, se hace un juicio técnico con peritos que miden el grado de peligrosidad, porque los enfermos mentales actúan impulsivamente, pero sienten culpa y arrepentimiento. Por eso se hace un comité que determina el nivel de reincidencia y de rehabilitación del paciente. El siquiátrico es un centro de aislamiento social, no una prisión, así que internar a un criminal es un peligro para los demás y para él mismo”, indicó Cajina.
Tras las muertes ocurridas, José Abel Díaz Álvarez ha sido recluido en un salita cuyas ventanas están protegidas por verjas. El cuarto tiene una extensión de dos metros cuadrados y está acondicionado con una pequeña ventanita a través de la cual se le pasa la comida.
Se le permite salir del lugar de las 7 de la mañana a las 4 de la tarde, pero sin la adecuada supervisión, debido a la escasez de personal.
Según la doctora Cajina, esta situación pone en peligro al personal que labora en el centro, a los otros pacientes, y, lo que es peor, no abona nada a la recuperación del enfermo.
“Los trabajadores del hospital no están preparados para atender a reos agresivos. Son trabajadores de la salud, no carceleros. Además, con encerrar al supuesto homicida no van a lograr nada, sólo van a provocar que se ponga más agresivo y cometa más crímenes. Esto es una bomba de tiempo que le va a explotar en las manos a las autoridades”, advirtió.
Atención deficiente
El hospital siquiátrico cuenta con un total de 198 camas disponibles, distribuidas en cuatro salas. Dos son destinadas para los pacientes crónicos --que nunca saldrán del hospital, debido a su avanzada edad y a una enfermedad incurable--, y dos para los pacientes agudos, los cuales están allí por períodos de dos a tres meses, pues están experimentando una crisis que requiere un aislamiento social durante un período corto.
Hay un total de 110 enfermeros que se distribuyen en turnos de dos a tres por cada sala, para atender a un total de 40 pacientes, aún cuando la Organización Mundial de la Salud recomienda que el número no debe ser superior a cinco. En el hospital trabajan siete siquiatras, los cuales asumen las terapias de todos los internos. Esto provoca que muchos pasen semanas sin recibir la atención debida.
Fármacos vencidos
El otro problema que enfrenta el hospital es la carencia de medicamentos y el uso de fármacos vencidos.
Cuando se produjo la suspensión de los tres enfermeros, éstos revelaron que a los pacientes se les daban fármacos que habían caducado. Esto, gracias a una orden directa emitida por la directora María Esther Paiz, quien autorizó a Juan Alberto Ruiz, el encargado del área de farmacia, a que distribuyera los medicamentos.
Tras el escándalo, la directora del hospital siquiátrico mandó a quemar 150 mil tabletas para encubrir la responsabilidad del hospital, pero fue imposible censurar las imágenes emitidas por los canales de televisión, donde se apreciaba claramente que la fecha de vencimiento de los medicamentos ya había expirado.
Está demostrado internacionalmente que cuando se utiliza un medicamento bajo estas condiciones, sus componentes activos pierden potencia, y el efecto beneficioso que provocan disminuye hasta en un 50%.
Esto podría ser una de las posibles explicaciones de por qué José Abel Día Álvarez perdió el control esa fatídica semana en la que tres personas perdieron la vida.
Presupuesto insuficiente
El otro inconveniente radica en el escuálido presupuesto que recibe el psiquiátrico, el cual es menor al 1% del presupuesto total destinado a salud, aun cuando las estadísticas indican que 1 de cada 1,000 habitantes va a necesitar atención psiquiátrica en algún momento de su vida.
Esta carencia de recursos provoca déficit en la alimentación, la vestimenta y productos básicos, como el papel higiénico, el jabón, el shampoo y la pasta de dientes.
El desayuno que reciben los pacientes se reduce a un pedazo de pan con café y un poco de gallo pinto; el almuerzo a una sopa Maggi o a un guiso de verduras, y la cena a un pedazo de pan y otra taza de café. Reciben dos meriendas: a las 10 de la mañana y a las 4 de la tarde, en las cuales se les da un vaso de pinolillo.
“Un paciente siquiátrico está sometido a medicamentos muy fuertes, así que necesita una nutricionista que le ponga una dieta rica en proteínas, vitaminas y carbohidratos. Pero el hospital se mantiene a base de donaciones. La carne, el pollo y el huevo ni lo conocen, mucho menos la leche y el queso. Es imposible vencer una depresión, una sicosis o una paranoia en esas condiciones”, aseguró la doctora Cajina.
Sólo con echarles una mirada a los pacientes del hospital y a las instalaciones, la pobreza salta a la vista. La pintura de los pabellones está descascarada, y son a cielo abierto, de forma tal que los pacientes se encuentran a la intemperie durante las noches. Las camas están viejas y corroídas, las sábanas transparentes, el piso manchado y empañado.
Los pacientes no están en mejores condiciones. Visten harapos, muchos andan descalzos y deambulan por los pabellones pidiendo un córdoba para comprar cigarrillos en el comisariato que está dentro del hospital.
Familia los abandona
El otro problema que existe es el abandono familiar, ya que la mayoría de los pacientes no reciben visitas ni apoyo económico, por lo que toda la responsabilidad recae en el gobierno.
“El hospital siquiátrico no es un lugar para vivir, y la familia lo tiene que entender. Es un sitio donde el paciente va a transitar un proceso de crisis que no puede ser sobrellevado en su casa porque está agresivo, no se toma los medicamentos y se causa daño. Pero pasado ese período, la familia tiene que hacerse responsable de él, encargarse de su medicación, entender su enfermedad, apoyarlo, no abandonarlo. La mayoría de los pacientes podrían perfectamente estar en su casa con la adecuada supervisión”, explicó la sicóloga Alicia Pérsico.
Está demostrado internacionalmente que el aislamiento social no es la solución para lograr la curación de un paciente con trastornos mentales.
Estas personas necesitan ser reinsertados paulatinamente a la sociedad a través de trabajos de medio tiempo, y contar con el afecto incondicional de su familia.
Durante el período de hospitalización, es importante que el enfermo mental se sienta útil y asuma un rol activo dentro del centro hospitalario, como lavar, cocinar o limpiar.
Se deben organizar actividades recreativas con los pacientes para sacarlos del encerramiento en el que viven. Hacer terapias de grupo para canalizar la ansiedad y la depresión.
Se debe capacitar constantemente al personal sobre las nuevas tendencias en el tratamiento siquiátrico y evitar el abuso de drogas como los antisicóticos y antidepresivos.
Malos tratos
Según José Abraham Guevara Chamorro, paciente que estuvo internado en el hospital durante seis meses --debido a un delirio de persecución secundario a alcoholismo--, las condiciones del hospital son críticas.
“Vivir allí es lo peor que me pudo pasar. Tienes que estar con personas agresivas y a merced de cualquier castigo. Hay celdas de aislamiento donde no entra ni la luz del sol, donde te recluyen si no te tomas el medicamento. Te amarran con correas a las camas cuando no cumples alguna regla, y te mantienen drogado casi todo el tiempo. Yo tengo grandes lagunas mentales por mi estadía en ese lugar, debido a la sobredosificación a la que fui sometido”, alega Guevara.
Para la doctora Gioconda Cajina, esto representa una seria violación a los derechos humanos de los internos.
“En el hospital siquiátrico, a los pacientes se les receta un cóctel de drogas para mantenerlos dormidos, y eso es violación a sus derechos humanos”, reiteró la doctora Cajina.
La Constitución de la República establece que nadie puede ser sometido a tratos humillantes o degradantes, y que los ciudadanos tienen derecho a una atención de salud de calidad, basada en los más altos estándares establecidos por los convenios y tratados internacionales ratificados por Nicaragua.
El otro problema son las violaciones que sufren hombres y mujeres por igual, y que muchos familiares no denuncian por miedo a las represalias.
La solución
La tendencia en el mundo actual va encaminada a eliminar los hospitales siquiátricos, ya que está demostrado que la atención siquiátrica convencional no permite alcanzar los objetivos compatibles con una atención comunitaria, descentralizada, participativa, integral, continua y preventiva.
Aísla al enfermo de su medio, generando de esa manera mayor discapacidad social. Crea condiciones desfavorables que ponen en peligro los derechos humanos y civiles del enfermo y requirieren muchos recursos financieros y humanos.
Para evitar esta situación, la doctora Gioconda Cajina recomienda crear pabellones siquiátricos en todos los hospitales de la capital, de forma tal que el hospital siquiátrico termine siendo el triste recuerdo de un mundo de terror.
“Necesitamos una descentralización de la atención siquiátrica. Es importante que cada hospital público tenga un pabellón destinado a estos pacientes, para evitar que sufran la estigmatización de los enfermos mentales. También es necesario crear hospitales de día para que los pacientes hagan manualidades, terapias y actividades lúdicas”, indicó la doctora Cajina.
Mientras tanto, los gritos de horror siguen filtrándose día tras día entre los muros de una institución que para muchos es considerada obsoleta y violatoria a los derechos humanos. Una institución donde José Abel Díaz Álvarez no encuentra paz que apacigüe los demonios que lleva dentro.

Tithing is something established as law, is mandatory, not voluntary, it is required, is the financial relationship with God, He provides everything for him or give back a tenth of what was received, meaning the company that he established with complying with this law. He becomes our partner, all profits generated, but receives only ten percent of income.
It is a beautiful bond of faith in the riches of this world, where we need to survive or live as we take account of our actions on this earth.
The issue of tithing in the church caused many problems, including the destruction or division of congregations not really know the origin, its purpose, that is, who owns the tithe or to use.

Recall that tithes are for the Levites, descendants of Levi, son of Jacob, who were chosen by God to the Temple service. God said: "The Levites are mine and pulled away. In this sense, the tenth in our country have to support or belong to full-time managers of the work of God.
The pastor must share with his wife, she being the helper and pastor or prophet of God almost always sheep serving women, is praying with the pastor, is dedicated to the work of God, totally. Do not want to destroy it, as we have known cases.

In this process of quest for intimacy with God, delivery, there is a spiritual struggle against Satan and exhausting his demons, not only because of us, but also because of the souls he snatched from the hands of Satan, that struggle is against the demons that seek these souls, for them we are their direct enemies once we are praying for them in different areas and attacked with fury and hatred to destroy us, the pastor, leaders, anyone to intercede.
The pastor is responsible to pray, intercede, fight, deal directly and for all his sheep, so will be attacked and his family take a good portion of those attacks. Sometimes with catastrophic results for the life of the pastor if your family is wrong. All these attacks in order to discourage the pastor, of shame, but if all your trust is in God, nothing will falter. Not be removed, remain as Mount Zion. Neither the sins of his wife, nor their sons or daughters they will fail. Ultimately salvation is individual.
The servant of God does not transmit tired anointing of God, does not perform as God wants, so the chances of performing miracles in Jesus' name will be reduced.
